December Birthdays

It's December and the days are short and can be a little dark.  We decorated up the Pollyanna Gateway with festive lights to light up these dark nights.   

December also means it is Eleanor Porter's Birthday Month.  Which gives us a reason to eat cake!  I always felt bad for people who have birthdays in December - it seems the holiday can overshadow their day.  My nephew's birthday was this past weekend and he celebrated with a circus-themed birthday party.  (He is a kid after my heart!)  My sister-in-law's birthday is the day after Christmas - which makes it easy to remember each year, but can get overshadowed with boxing day!  

So we'll celebrate on Sunday, December 18th at the Glad Shop with some cake and our own Eleanor Porter expert to share some stories with us. Stop by if you are in the area.
